Karen Williams seems to be the most blatantly honest DUI offender we’ve ever seen. The Cottonwood, AZ native was arrested on December 19, 2013, and you’d be surprise as to the nature of some of her responses and actions.

Police spotted Williams parked on the sidewalk. When they approached the vehicle, Williams was talking on her cellphone. However, police still suspected Williams to be under the influence. Her speech was slurred. Her eyes were bloodshot and police could smell alcohol emanating from her person. Later on, police noticed that she had an open can of beer in her lap.

This whole time, mind you, Williams is still on her phone. In fact, she ended her conversation by saying, “I have to go, I’m getting arrested for a DUI again.”

Apparently, Williams was on her way to pick up her daughter from youth group. Williams admitted to drinking six beers. When police asked Williams to take a field sobriety test, Williams responded that she “did not feel like it.”

Police arrested Williams and later learned that she had been driving on a revoked license. Williams was taken to county jail. She will be facing DUI charges as well as a violation for having an open container of alcohol on the car.

Getting arrested can be an overwhelming experience and sometimes people say things to the police that they immediately regret later. However, no matter how you acted with police, you should always get an experienced DUI lawyer to help you with your charges. A DUI lawyer will go over your case and guide you on what to do so you can avoid jail time. If you’ve been arrested for a DUI, find a lawyer today!
